Description
We are a musical family : Eliot, violinist & Valerie, singer + 3 boys (1-4-7y) and a small dog. In our house you will hear music every day and several languages. At home I speak French with my children, my husband speaks English with them, the boys speak English to each other, me and my husband speak Dutch together, and we speak French to our dog. Our boys (and us) also speak Portuguese. I teach at the Conservatory of Antwerp and at the Opera House of Brussels. My husband teaches in several conservatories in different countries.

You will be surrounded by lots of classical music: from study time at home to rehearsals at home or in concert halls, you will be able to listen to many classical concerts and opera's, you will hear many languages being spoken at home, your brains will be challenged with some chess games, you will meet lots of artists at our home during parties we organise and you will have plenty of free time to discover the wonderful city of Antwerp and many other European cities that are easily accessible from here. You can have sometimes free rides to Amsterdam where my husband teaches the violin.

Help
We would like help around the house, playing with our youngest while we practice our music at home or during our musical rehearsals, going to swimming lessons close by sometimes, encouraging our sons to practice their instruments (cello and violin or the piano), playing chess with them, sitting next to our children in a concert hall while we perform, taking turns in cooking meals for all of us, helping to take care of our modest vegetable terrace and small garden and sometimes going with me to the opera with our children so they can sit in rehearsals while I work there (I'm teaching/coaching the children choir of the Brussels Opera House La Monnaie)

Antwerp is an amazing cosy city with plenty of things to visit and to do. A renowned fashion city also. It is also greatly located if you want to discover other parts of Europe.
