Description
This workaway location is set in a rubber plantation in Kanthavara forest, 45km north of Mangalore and 75km south of Udupi. The closest town is Moodbidri
The plantation is set in a breathtaking forest with beautiful streams, lakes, rocks and picnic spots. There are a variety of birds, wild animals, hiking/trekking paths and waterfalls in the area.

Experience living and working in a rain forest. There are peacocks, wild boars, monkeys and even the occasional leopard in the vicinity. Participate in forest conservation work. Ideal for those who wish to detox, meditate, write, yoga, hike, trek or experience rural India
Help
We have a full fledged team at site to take care of everything. On the day you arrive you will be given a full tour of the property, during which you can meet the team and see what is being done. You can help with gardening, painting, eco work, yoga and meditation set-ups, ayurveda (forest based medicine) practices, DIY and building tasks, help around the house etc etc. We are flexible

We have a separate accommodation / dormitory for workawayer's which is open every day, all year round and can accommodate up to 30 people. 2-3 days notice is sufficient. Also feel free to use us as Plan-B in case other hosts cancel on you, we are cool with that too.

Easy access to 1000 column temple and Jain burial site, 500 year old 42ft stone stautue of Mahaveer, beaches, forests, hiking / cycling trails, sites within the city. Close by there are mountains, plantations, rivers etc too.

All the staff of the farm was super nice and I I felt very welcomed, it is nice to feel a part of the local workers crew. food was very good as well.

Arun provides excellent privat accommodation in Mangalore. We helped him at his non-commercial free library.
