The intention of being open to volunteers is to exchange culture and knowledge on regenerative, organic farming, engineering, meaningful life experiences and ways of living in a more sustainable and happy life.
We are looking for volunteers that are happy with a simple lifestyle without material luxury. The initiative is new so there are a lot of small projects to take ownership. Some of the projects required are: develop a nursary for small plants, come up with ideas of architectural projects with bioconstruction, develop our agroforestry system, optimize our plant layout, manage the life cycle process of the cashew nut and all its byproducts, create strategic partnerships, build relationships and engaje local communities.

It's a beautiful house, just for workawayers. Two rooms (double bed / three single beds) and sofa in the living room with TV and good wi-fi. Closet, shared bathroom with hot bath, equipped kitchen and nice living room. The house can fit 5 people but we plan to have a maximum of 2 at the moment.
Simple but delicious food will be given to volunteers, we have a small garden with lettuce, kale, carrots, beetroots and tomato. If something more specific is needed we recommend volunteers to buy in the city at their own expense.
100km from the farm there is the Serra d Capivara Park which is a very big and famous open-air museum called American Man Museum, with a lot of archeological evidences about the oldest human found in America. This trip can be a good weekend trip.
On the property, there are several beautiful birds for birdwatching and an incredible variety of animals (jaguar, armadillo, anteater, fox) to explore...
It's a 30-minute drive to the nearest local village of Canto do Buriti where you can buy supplies.
At night we usually talk about the daily activities, share our learnings, take time to create some art, music, laugh, star gaze, listen to the crickets and share culture and friendship.
