Description
We are looking for longterm workawayers 2024. Its ok with short aswell ;-)
Our Family consists of 3 grown up kids. Six grandchildren. We are Family home so it could be kids at home. There is always food in the kitchen. We eat 2-3 times a day. Together sometimes and sometimes anybody just cook and grab some food. It depends when everybody start school or end school or having a concert or working in the riding school. We have 32 islandic horses, 1 cat and 14 Islandic hens. We are musicians. Two children are professional in Folkmusic and Classical music and one is studying to become optician. We are master fiddlers in Scanian folkmusic. There will be cultural exchange everyday if you like ;-) Four of us has won World Championship in Clogfiddling the last one last one 2024. The farmbusiness have 9 acre and a pond. Beautiful surroundings. We teach in violin and two-row accordion. There is a riding school on the farm with 120 students including handicap students and tours are being held in the forest. We have breeding from 1 - 4 years old. There is always something to do in the house or all the buildings that needs to attend to and mend or build new stables for. And of course the garden. We live beautiful in the forest but close to Båstad, Helsingborg, Ängelholm and Laholm. My husband had a car accident because he had a huge cough and fainted the 9th of September 2020 his arm got very hurt but he can play mouth harp and two-row accordion and sing of course. The best thing is that he stopped smoking (no coughing any longer) so something good came out of it anyway ;-) At the moment the projects are cleaning, poohpicking, weaving. We bring horses with boat to and from an island Hallands Väderö and we need a lot of people to hold them on the boat. We try to find some order in the machine room… We so if you have those skills most welcome. The last workawayer invented a very nice idea, that we should have familytime after 18.00. That was very nice and thoughtful as I go to bed at 20.00 and the children need to relax before sleeping..
Laif could stay up for a long time :-)Types of help and learning opportunities

What else ...
We have had over 100 voulunteers on our farm since 2007 and even made a TV show with an Irish television....They love to visit the picturesque village like Båstad, Ängelholm and Helsingborg to take a beer or look at the sea. A lot of them liked to walk and run in the beautiful forrest. Some liked to follow with us on festivals, concerts and learn how to dance and play. Others preferred the horses and we give them lessons. Some even got married with our carpenters and moved to Sweden...
