Description
I am a single woman with two teenage sons, who occasionally return home from university when they need clean clothes. Sharing the house are a dog and cat. The house is a 3 bedroomed longere in the heart of the Breton countryside within walking distance of the Nantes/Brest canal. I am trying to finish decorating the house and sort out the garden before the summer arrives. Because I work long hours during the week I have very little time at the weekend and if I'm working in the house I can't do the garden, so I would really love some extra help, particularly with the garden. I'm very easy going and don't make much noise. I'm at work quite a bit during the day, so you would be left to your own devices, a car is needed here as we have no public transport. Living in a small hamlet in Brittany there is every chance to develop language skills with the neighbours. However the medieval towns of Malestroit, Josselin, Rennes and Vannes are all very close, plus the Gulf and Islands of Morbihan so plenty of opportunity for sightseeing

Help
I'm looking for help with basic painting and decorating around the house, but mostly I need help with my very large garden. It's currently a field and I cut the grass every couple of weeks. I'd like help cutting back the hedges, helping me finish fencing it off and then making it look pretty. I'm happy to buy the plants, just need help and guidance with the planting and looking after.

Accommodation
You would have your own double bedroom in a private family home. The bathroom is shared. You will be included in any family meals that you wish, although I'm not a great cook, so you are perfectly welcome to use the cooking facilities as and when you wish. You would be welcome to use the family home as if it were your home.

The medieval town of Malestroit is tourist central here in Brittany, directly from the house you can walk in the woods or alongside the Nantes/Brest Canal. 30 minutes away is the Port town of Vannes and the Gulf of Morbihan with access via ferries to the various different islands. Watersports and swimming are also available. If chateaux are your thing, you have Chateau de Josselin or Chateau Suscinio, both incredible and open to visitors. There are lots of things to see and do here.
