    Description

We are presenting our learning community project:
We are a group of educators, parents and children that share the principles of of libertarian education understood as a learning path in which the child is recognized as having the ability to choose; this freedom takes the form of the opportunity to decide together with (men and women )teachers and companions what and how to learn.

Ours is a project based on self-management where everyone becomes protagonists and collaborate in the organizational life of our educational environment.

As a group we deal with outdoor, itinerant and city education, aimed at boys and girls from 6 to 11 years old.

We believe that learning is necessary not only in view of a future career path, but above all to learn how to be, to know how to live as active citizens. To do this, it is necessary to provide the tools to develop critical thinking and to make children aware of the social context, with its limits and criticalities.

Learning cannot be confined to a single space, but it happens in every area and in every moment of our lives. Consequently, it is not possible to experience the city without becoming active and aware citizens. A learning community could not survive without the construction of a network of relationships woven together with other realities of the territory which becomes the subject of social transformation. In this regard, we try to involve people willing to get involved with us, people who want both to learn with us and to pass on what they know with joy and devotion.

We reject any form of authoritarianism and blackmail because we have full confidence in the ability of the person (adult or child) to develop their skills as long as it is done with love and passion, respecting diversity and accepting different learning rhythms.

We are currently looking for a native English speaker, who can convey interest in the language as well as the customs of their country through music, the arts or any sport.

We would like someone who is playful, respectful and non-authoritative, who has experience with boys and girls and who enjoys being with them.

A person who knows how to enjoy the wonders of group learning, of contaminating and questioning oneself, discovering and discovering oneself in the uncertainty of a continuous opening up to the world.

An open minded person, who loved being in touch with the children and who’s willing to share his/her knowledge.
