Beschreibung

Hi, we're Will (27) & Maia (24), two nature loving animal enthusiasts looking for a new adventure!

Will has done workaways all around the world in countries such as: Morocco, Canada, Australia, New Zealand and Finland. This will be Maia's first workaway experience :)

We are ideally looking for a remote workaway helping with animal care, permaculture, gardening, farm work, eco-construction or hospitality. We are young, fit, hardworking and not afraid to get our hands dirty.

Our experience:

Will:
27 yo from UK, now living in Australia. I have 9 years hospitality experience in various roles, most recently as Guest Services Manager of Saffire Freycinet, a stunning Luxury Lodge in Tasmania. I have a passion for responsible tourism practices which led me to achieve a Masters Degree in Human Geography, specialising in the impacts of Sustainable Tourism. Moreover, I have gained generous experience from workaways including farm work, animal care, construction, gardening, bartending. I love being outside everyday, learning new practical skills and sharing my own knowledge. I am a keen surfer, footballer and circus skills lover - I would be happy to teach anyone some new skills!

Maia:
I grew up in rural Adelaide, SA but now am living in the Sunshine Coast. I've spent time working on dairy farms, horse studs and wildlife parks, and I have a cert II in Animal Care. I also have experience in various hospitality and customer service roles. I've spent the last few years working in the disability and mental health care field while I work towards getting my bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy, so I would love to do something different while I take a break from studying.
In my spare time I do various creative projects and would love to share and gain knowledge in anything crafty! I like to make jewellery from recycled and natural materials, and do watercolour painting.

PLEASE NOTE: We would like to travel with Maia's dog (Malu) a kelpie X if possible. Please let us know if you are able to accommodate an adorable, friendly pup! :)
