Ciao! I am a quiet girl from the North of Italy, and I am interested in gaining experience in the hospitality sector, while meeting cool people from around the world. I am particularly interested in kitchen and food.

I have a Master's in Sociology, which allowed me to explore social issues and injustices, particularly in the field of migration.
I am now travelling before deciding what the next steps in my life will be. I have many passions and interests, and I am looking for a way to keep all of them together. My dream is one day to open a café that serves as a gathering point for a lively community, while serving vegan mediterranean food.

Across the years, I have been working and volunteering in a number of different sectors (and countries!): hospitality, teaching, research, communication, and farming. All of these experiences has made me a very adaptable and easy-going person. I have always been pushed to travel by my curiosity and my love for stories - and I think I have learned pretty well how to listen, observe, and absorb what surrounds me.

I discovered my interest in cooking a couple of years ago, when I spent one summer volunteering in a community kitchen in France. Since then, I have been studying and experimenting in the kitchen a lot.

MY LAST JOB: I worked in a campsite in Germany for the summer season, where I was performing a mix of different tasks:
- Kitchen: together with a small team, I was responsible for: the preparation and presentation of dishes; keeping the kitchen tidy and clean; managing stocks and planning shopping; menu planning.
- Cleaning toilets and common areas.
- Gardening.
- Housekeeping of cabins.

KITCHEN: I have worked in different kinds of kitchens. I am independent in the preparation of dishes, and in keeping the workplace tidy and clean. I have experience in stock managing and menu planning.

WAITRESSING: I have experience as a waitress in a bar.

LANGUAGES: I speak multiple languages fluently and I have experience in teaching them to both adults and kids.

COMMUNICATION: I love writing and I have some experience in the field of media & communication.

GARDENING AND FARMING: I have some experience in gardening and taking care of farm animals.

CHILDREN: I have worked with children from age 3 on, both as a baby-sitter and as a teacher / educator

In my free time, I like to go running and do yoga. But the thing I enjoy the most is just spending time with friends, talking, over a good cup of coffee or tea :)
