*was previously traveling with a previous partner (which is reflected in the Feedback), but currently solo traveling and living out of her Ford Econoline converted Van.

Morgan is an artist, teacher and nature enthusiast who is passionate about community building, life-long learning, and creativity. Her energetic personality, positive attitude, and clear communication style are all strengths for this self-motivated nomad Workawayer.

Morgan loves to travel and learn from nature, while activating her creativity and personal reflective practice.

Morgan is motivated by community building and are interested in deepening her relationship to the land. She finds happiness in the small moments of life: building a campfire, connecting with strangers, polar plunges, writing poetry, or catching a sunrise. Presence takes precedence.

WHAT I HOPE TO GAIN:
Ideally, I am interested in paid opportunities, but am open to exchange. I hope to gain knowledge and experience wherever I go.

I would be happy to help on any farm, projects, Airbnb/ camp hosting, homesteading, house/pet sitting, event planning, creative projects, alternative building projects, and more!

Morgan has her degree in both Fine Arts and Arts Education, which led her to teach art in classroom, museum, and community spaces across the globe. She acquired her TEFL certification in Prague, Czech Republic, where she spent 8 months teaching, nannying, and traveling across Europe. In that time, she volunteered with Ukrainian refugee families, and on a sustainable family farm. She has barista and service industry skills with experience in hosting large scale arts and music events.

Morgan is very skilled at communication, organization, task management, and is a dedicated, energetic worker. She has completed many DIY home and construction projects including: laying flooring, tiling, painting, demolitions, building garden beds, planting trees, seed starting, chopping wood, harvesting fruits/vegetables, and maintaining properties.

She has her degree in Education and has experience teaching, facilitating, and holding leadership positions.

Morgan has a love and respect for the natural world, which is shown in how she shows up with intention and care in her work and with others.

I love animals! I enjoy dancing and learning how to play the guitar. Morgan loves to create craft nights, enjoys pottery, painting and long walks.

Vom Workawayer () für Host (Come join us at our Heaven on ...)

John & Pam were exceptional hosts! They went above and beyond to make our 1 week stay at their special cabin comfortable and satisfactory. I would recommend this Workaway Host to anyone looking for an intentional, genuine experience with two incredible humans who take their work and play/adventure time seriously. It was inspiring to see how well … read more they took care of their property - a true piece of Heaven on Earth! John was a great leader in introducing projects and working alongside us with positivity at the forefront. Pam joined in on the work as well and the four of us accomplished A LOT during our stay. It was energizing working alongside this well-traveled Workaway Couple and we were impressed with all of their meals. Pam is a fantastic cook and John a great baker! As conversationalists, we loved chatting about life and appreciated their genuine friendship.

John & Pam encouraged us to use their wood fired hot tub and they shared so many resources and suggestions for exploring the area, which is FULL of lush nature. We enjoyed strolling down the hill for polar plunges, stoking the hot tub for a dip after dinner under the stars, picking blackberries next door, and finding magic in their nearby protected forest trail. On our days off, we had the opportunity to experience new, enriching hobbies with this couple and their friends including: foraging for berries and mushrooms, making homemade meals, strumming instruments and singing during sunset, and playing new games alongside laughter and storytelling.

As dog owners and Workawayers, we take pride in how well our dogs are trained and able to adjust to any situation and supervising during work days. John & Pam not only welcomed Charlie and Jax into their home with open arms, but treated them like family! It made our hearts full to witness the love they shared for our furry companions. From inviting them off-leash on hikes, playing fetch with Charlie, and cuddling with Jax, Pam & John truly connected with our dogs and we are so grateful for their welcoming energy. Also, they had the opportunity to play and explore with a new dog friend Eddy during their stay.

Overall, we are so grateful that this opportunity aligned! It was a reciprocal experience full of respect, generosity, kindness, and support. Thank you, John & Pam, for hosting us for 1 week, entrusting us in the work on your special property, and treating our unit like close friends! We are looking forward to exploring the area in the future and reconnecting.
