Description:
We are at the beginning of an exciting journey: turning Landgut Berlinchen, a historic country estate in Brandenburg, into a place that combines long-term community living with short-term hospitality such as retreats, workshops, and guest stays.
Over the next 2–3 years, we want to create a space that feels both like a home and a welcoming retreat for visitors. Our goal is to balance the calm rhythm of country life with the inspiration of creative exchange.
What we offer:
- Accommodation in our beautiful countryside estate
- Meals and shared cooking
- The opportunity to become part of something long-term, not just as volunteers but potentially as partners in the project
- Lots of freedom to bring in your own skills, creativity, and passions

Who we are looking for:
- A couple who is interested in combining work and lifestyle in the countryside
- People who are practical, hands-on, and enjoy both hospitality and community building
- Those who see this not only as a stay, but as a chance to grow into a longer-term role in the project
- German knoweldge would be highly beneficial

Landgut Berlinchen is in Brandenburg, surrounded by lakes and nature, yet not too far from Berlin. It’s the perfect place if you enjoy a calm rural lifestyle with cultural energy within reach.

You are in Berlinchen, the gateway for your holidays in the Mecklenburg Lake District, or as we say, the land of 1000 lakes. From here you can enjoy excursions to the many lakes in the area to cool off, to paddle or just relax by the water. Even more refreshing is to grab a paddle boat right at our lake next to the hotel or go fishing.
The environment of our country house hotel offers you enough space for horse riding and romantic carriage rides taking in the beautiful scenery of the Brandenburg and Mecklenburg regions.
Those who are looking for an adventure during the summer can go in a glider right from Berlinchen. An extensive walk or bike ride can be taken straight from the farm, with refreshments at one of the beautiful lakes around our house. The boat trips to the Müritz are also a very relaxing and interesting option.
With over 1,100 km the Tour Brandenburg is probably the longest bicycle tour in Germany, crossing the Prignitz in the East. On the trail from Heiligengrabe to Wittstock the tour leads through Berlinchen. In addition to this impressive tour, there are other routes available and tours to choose from. We are happy to assist you in planning your vacation at the Mecklenburg Lake District.
