Hello! We're Shannon and Jeremy. We're currently traveling and volunteering (2024). We enjoy helping at hotels, hostels, and guest houses, and helping with families, organizations, schools, English centers, and conscious communities where we can assist and contribute in meaningful ways.

We've had great experiences getting to know the people we've stayed with, assisting them with tasks/projects, and learning about new cultures and the way of life in each new city. We learn some of the local language wherever we go, too.

We have skills providing customer service, running hotels and hostels, creating fun guest activities and guest vibes, taking care of pets, house sitting, helping to sell local products, teaching/practicing English with kids and adults, and assisting with computers and the Internet. We're respectful, polite, clean, and generally helpful and we like connecting with thoughtful and caring groups of people.

We love working with small teams and with other volunteers. We're responsible, chill, and fun. We love music. We love animals. We care about the environment and about people and communities. We always want to leave a place better than we found it. We strive to build connections and share our experiences with hosts and travelers.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

When volunteering at a hotel, hostel, or guest house we enjoy helping the guests, cooking breakfast, cleaning the common areas and kitchen, and doing things to ensure a great stay for the customers. We think keeping things clean for guests is very important and it helps them have an excellent stay and become repeat customers.

For schools and language centers we both have a lot of experience practicing English conversations with adults, teens, and kids, and we find teaching to be rewarding and enjoyable.

With families or individuals we like to help with house cleaning, cooking, chores, English practice, and cultural exchange opportunities.

Shannon also has accounting, cooking, and computer skills. Jeremy also has computer and Internet skills.

We love to help out at hotels/hostels, English centers, with families, or community organizations. We have lots of experience looking after guests, managing rooms and bookings, doing housework, cleaning, language practice, serving food, providing customer care, and assisting with tours.

We're happy to connect with you and learn more about your project.

Was noch ...

It would be great to stay somewhere where we can get to know the area in our free time. We're happy to use public transit, like a bus or train, to get around. We also love to ride bicycles, so if you have bicycles available that is something we appreciate.

We're grateful to do workaways and to share whatever we can with you.
