Hi!! After finishing university in the UK in the summer of 2023, I've spent the last few years working in hospitality and travelling around the world!

Last year, I worked in Tasmania and spent half a year backpacking around Asia. This included nearly six weeks of workaways in Tasmania and Malaysia! As much as I loved this amazing adventure, I was excited to come back to Melbourne to form a more consistent and permanent community, and to use it as a base to volunteer and explore through Workaway! I’m interested in environmentalism and conservation and want to gain some experience and insight as a potential future career path. I love hiking/being in nature and cooking yummy vegetarian meals so would love workaways which make this a daily necessity :)

Was könntest du arbeiten?

I have worked in hospitality and customer service jobs since I was 17 - most recently I worked in a youth hostel in a national park in the UK called the Lake District. Whilst there I worked in the kitchen, on the bar, on reception and as a housekeeper which gave me a wide diversity of helpful skills.

I also volunteered at a biodiversity day helping to rebuild a dam and helped out with weeding and gardening on the site during the warmer weather too.

I have also loved volunteering at music festivals, meeting lots of people and maintaining a friendly and confident exterior in busy shifts :)

Was noch ...

I love reading lots. I am an avid hiker, occasional runner and big fan of wild swimming! I enjoy cooking vegetarian meals with friends and playing card games (although I’m slightly too competitive!)

I love going to see live music and visiting art galleries when visiting new places
