Hi hi!

My name is Rosie and I grew up just outside Toronto, Canada. I started my solo backpacking journey 3 years ago and am still going strong!

A bit about me:

- I studied English Literature, worked in book publishing, and read as much as possible
- I am an TEFL certified teacher and work with students online
- I am passionate about yoga, breathwork, and community
- I have travelled to 20 countries (and counting!)
- I grew up in a bicultural, bilingual household and speak Spanish
- I have been vegetarian for the past 13 years and lead a plant-based, sustainable lifestyle

I value seeking discomfort and love trying new things. I can't wait to share my journey with you!

Was könntest du arbeiten?

While I was in Australia and NZ, I began working on permaculture farms and have fallen in love with sustainable, rural living. I have experience watering, weeding, mulching, pruning, potting, harvesting, preparing soil beds for planting, and general maintenance in gardens and orchards.

I am a TEFL certified English teacher and have taught students (elementary to university) in the subjects of language, grammar, and writing. In the past, I have taught as an ESL teacher at an all-boys school and as a teaching assistant for university undergraduates in literature. I love working with students of all ages and empowering them to achieve their goals. I am currently working remotely online as a English teacher as I travel!

I’ve also worked in hospitality (customer service in restaurants & retail) for over 7 years as a waiter, caterer, cashier, sales associate, and assistant manager. Working with people and recognizing their needs has become my strong suit. I am extremely organized and efficient, proficient in a wide range of technology and media platforms, and can work independently or with a team.

Mostly, I am positive and open - to ideas, ways of living, and new experiences.
