Ane Marie is a really strong woman - I learnt a lot from her during my week at the beautiful Finca. She showed me how to negotiate some of the more challenging aspects of the slow Spanish lifestyle!

After work I had lots of time to relax and write - it's a perfect place to inspire creativity.

La Parilla is a beautiful location and Ane Marie is a very gracious host.
The Workaway accomodation in the old Chapel is quite unique and we were very well looked after.
We had plenty of opportunity to explore the charming local towns and mountain region.
Neil And Leilani were great to host. Easy going to be around.
They build a stone wall at our finca and did it with precision and skill.
They were both well experienced, inspiring and very responsible at work.
Thank you so much for contributing to developing our garden.

This Workaway is highly recommended and I throughly enjoyed my time here. I was lucky enough to be there while a chef was staying and am grateful for the meals we all shared together. … read more project. The property and accommodations are amazing. very comfortable and relaxing. The area has lots of things to do in the off time. Due to some timing issues, I chose to work longer than required and didn't explore as much as I could have. I was able to see the beautiful caves in Nerja and did climb to the top of a mountain that overlooked Frigiliana...absolutely stunning views. If you want a great Workaway, this would be a good one to go to. Thank you both for this wonderful opportunity. Wishing you all the best

… read more gathering. The work itself was around 5 hours everyday, and we fully immersed ourselves in the process, as there was no pressure at all. We really enjoyed cooking in the huge fully-equipped kitchen and we’re definitely taking some of the recipes we’ve learned here back home!
Being digital nomads, we have also had more than enough time and space to work remotely and privately, which is also a huge plus.
Everything about the location, the place itself and its surroundings are stunning! Truly a hidden gem of Andalusia and the most beautiful part of Spain we’ve seen so far (and this is one of the 10 most beautiful properties in Spain according to the Times by the way).

i've been treated like a king. Ane Maria is such a lovely lady, soft soul yet strong spirit, compassionate. I arrived late at night she picked me up from the bus station, upon my arrival she cooked me a dinner and made sure i didn't go hungry to bed, every morning was divine, with glorious melodies playing in the background background, the fridge
… read more was always full with food, healthy good quality food, even for me myself raw vegan, she made sure i had enough fruits during the day, she like buying organic fresh food from the local market, quite often we'll sit down and eat together and share stories from our fantastic travel experiences. i have big love for Ane, she is one of a kind, other than that, the villa has spirit, and pictures cannot describe it, you can feel it, its divine, flawless, it'll make you walk gracefully😇 its quite easy getting around, on the way down she often take me, but there are also busses and hitchhiking is also a good option. the beach is not far at all, and there are beautiful mountains trails above in the village, its a perfect middle between mountains and beach. this is not for energies who seek parties, its a villa to open your eyes and truly connect to your soul for recognizing the righteousness, and beauty.
