Hola! My name is Natalia and I'm from Spain, although I've lived in many different countries. I love to move around and to learn about new cultures! Since 2017 I've been travelling on and off in a more conscious and ecofriendly way, always with a light backpack and an open mind!
I often choose workaway as my travelling tool because I prefer to stay longer in one place and really get to know it. I believe this to be the only way of establishing real, long-lasting connections with a place and especially with its people, which is the most important to me.
I love learning and teaching, working hard if I believe in the cause, exploring and doing creative things. Here's my volunteering experience so far:

2018: English teacher at summer camp in Lviv (Ukraine)
2018: Hostel staff in Mostar (Bosnia and Herzegovina)
2019-2020: Intercultural teacher/coordinator at foster home in Yerevan (Armenia)
2021: English teacher at weekends and summer camp in Campania (Italy)
2021: worker and goatherd at agroecological farm in Basilicata (Italy)
2023: English teacher and social worker at social service organisation in Andhra Pradesh (India)

Was könntest du arbeiten?

My background is in translation and communications, which means I can teach languages and have good communication skills. I have extensive experience teaching English to children in multicultural and nonfomal environments. I am also a Sociology student, and a very opinionated one! So I have plenty to discuss about and I can share with you my vision of the world and my optimism.
From my communications work I learned to organise events, manage social media and create audiovisual content. I have also participated as a volunteer in many cultural events, helping in various different ways.
I'm a very motivated and hard-worker, interested in almost everything, which means that I am willing to try anything and give it my best.

I am a very creative person and I love working with my hands (painting, sewing, repairing things...)
Because I love photography and writing I'm trying to work on a personal blog where I can combine both things. I am good with visuals and I can fluently write in both English in Spanish, so I could help you with promoting your activities.
