Hiii! How are you?

My name is Vivian, I’m Brazilian and I spent many years of my life living in my hometown Manaus, in the Amazon.

In 2022, I left Amazonas for the first time and, of course, it was also my first time on a plane. When I experienced that moment, I realized it was exactly what my heart had been searching for all those years: connections with people from different cultures and languages.

That’s how my backpacking journey began. In January 2023, I decided to leave my city to explore the world. This journey actually started at home, when I chose to study English and Spanish by myself, preparing for everything that was ahead.

Since then, I’ve traveled across South America, visited Europe, returned to South America and then continued on to Central America. Not long ago, I had only known Amazonas and now I can look at my list and say I’ve visited 17 countries so far!

So, what do I do now? I work as an online language teacher. I teach children and teenagers in a virtual school, and I do it with a lot of love, because I truly enjoy teaching and, of course, learning as well!

Speaking of learning, during my first backpacking trips I had the opportunity to learn many things: permaculture, bioconstruction, planting and harvesting, taking care of children, cleaning and organizing hostels, and also caring for animals like horses, fish, cows, and pigs, dogs, cats… so many experiences!

Since I’m passionate about languages, I’m currently learning Italian and German. I want to keep exploring new cultures and now with a new destination in mind: Europe!

Maybe our paths will cross somewhere along the way, I hope so, and that we can share amazing moments together!

During these nearly three years of traveling, I’ve learned a wide range of skills and developed valuable experience. I’ve worked with permaculture, planting and harvesting, taken care of children, helped with cleaning and organizing hostels, and cared for animals such as horses, fish, cows, and pigs — truly a rich and diverse journey of experiences!
