  Hi there!
  
  We are Francisco and Agostina, an Argentine couple living in Kumbor, a quiet and charming village just a few minutes from Herceg Novi, on the stunning Bay of Kotor. We share our home with our little daughter Felicitas (2 years old) and our two Staffordshire Bull Terriers, Lafinur and Peperina — and we'd love to welcome you into our little Adriatic life!
  
  What we're looking for
  
  From December 30th to January 20th, we'll be traveling outside Montenegro, and we're looking for someone trustworthy and caring to stay at our home and look after our two girls, Lafinur and Peperina.
  
  Lafinur is our older Staffy, while Peperina is our new addition to the family — a four-month-old puppy who's still discovering the world, learning new things, and bringing plenty of puppy energy into our lives! 🐶
  
  We're looking for someone who genuinely loves dogs, feels comfortable around them, and understands that taking care of them means more than simply putting food in their bowls. They need company, affection, walks, playtime, and someone who will make sure they're happy and safe while we're away.
  
  We'd love to find someone who will treat them as their own and enjoy having two furry companions around the house. In return, you'll have a comfortable home by the sea to enjoy at your own pace, in one of the most beautiful corners of the Balkans.
  
  Would you like to stay longer? Even better!
  
  Although we particularly need help during those dates, you're more than welcome to arrive earlier or stay longer after January 20th if you'd like to spend some time with us once we're back.
  
  We love the idea of cultural exchange, and we'd be happy to share our everyday life with you, get to know your culture, exchange languages, cook together, explore the area, and perhaps go on some little adventures around the bay. If you're looking for more than just a place to stay — a genuine connection with a local family — we might be a great match!
  
  A little about our home and lifestyle
  
  Our apartment is just 50 meters from the sea, with two balconies overlooking the water. It's the kind of place where you can enjoy your morning coffee with the Adriatic right in front of you.
  
  Kumbor is peaceful and local, away from the biggest tourist crowds, but with Herceg Novi and the rest of the bay within easy reach.
  
  We love nature, weekend hikes, swimming in hidden coves, discovering medieval villages, and taking road trips around Montenegro and neighboring countries. We speak Spanish, English, and Italian, and we love exchanging languages naturally through conversation, cooking, and everyday life.
  
  We've been Workawayers ourselves, so we know firsthand how meaningful these experiences can be. For us, hosting is about sharing our home, getting to know people from different backgrounds, and creating connections that go beyond a simple accommodation arrangement.

  A few things to know
  
  Our main priority is finding someone responsible, reliable, and genuinely fond of dogs. Since Peperina is still a puppy, patience and a little extra attention are especially important.
  
  We'll make sure you have all the information you need about their routines, feeding, walks, and anything else that will help you feel comfortable caring for them. We'll also arrange everything together before we leave so you know exactly what to expect.

  What you'll take home:
  More than just a stamp in your passport. Living with a family — sharing meals, conversations, spontaneous road trips and quiet evenings on the balcony — gives you something a hostel never can. You'll pick up words in Spanish (or Italian, or both), share your own language with us in return, and experience the Balkans not as a tourist but as someone who actually belongs here for a while.
  On weekends we explore — Herceg Novi, Kotor, Perast, Budva, hidden beaches along the bay, and often across the border into Croatia or Bosnia. . If for any reason we can't make a trip happen, we'll always point you in the right direction and help you get there.
  Food is central to who we are. Francisco cooks traditional Argentine, Italian and Spanish meals regularly — expect proper asado, empanadas, and more — and we genuinely love when our guests bring their own recipes to the table. Our kitchen is yours.
  We speak Spanish, English and Italian and love exchanging languages naturally through everyday life. Whatever you speak, whatever you know, whatever you're passionate about — yoga, crafts, music, your own culture — bring it. That exchange is exactly what makes this worth it for all of us.
  Montenegro is one of Europe's best kept secrets, and you'll leave knowing corners of it that most travellers never find.

  Arbeit

  We’re looking for someone to take care of our two Staffordshire Bull Terriers, Lafinur and Peperina, while we’re away from December 30th to January 20th.
  
  The main responsibilities are feeding them according to their usual routine, making sure they have fresh water, taking them for walks, spending time playing with them, giving them affection, and keeping them safe and comfortable. Lafinur is our adult dog, while Peperina is a four-month-old puppy, so she needs a little extra patience and attention as she learns and grows.
  
  We’re looking for someone responsible, reliable, and genuinely comfortable around dogs, who will treat them with love and care as if they were their own. We’ll explain their routines, habits, and needs before leaving, so you feel confident and prepared.
  
  During our trip, you’ll have our apartment to yourself, including a private bedroom, a private bathroom, a fully equipped kitchen, and two balconies overlooking the Adriatic Sea, just 50 meters from the beach.
  
  Although our main need is during these dates, you’re welcome to arrive earlier or stay longer after January 20th if you’d like to spend some time with us and our family once we’re back. We love cultural exchange and would be happy to share meals, conversations, languages, and everyday life in Montenegro.
