Hey, we're Megan and Tom!

A fun, outgoing couple who loves nature, animals (dog lover here!), to travel, build, challenges, DIY, adventure, food (desserts!) etc.

We met in Thailand in 2021 when I was living there as a teacher and Tom was traveling by motorbike throughout the country. Since then, we've been inseparable. Our most recent endeavor has been working and living in Australia for the last three years.

Tom is 31 from Manchester, England with a masters in Design from the University of Leeds and he has developed a love of building and construction. While in Australia and working day jobs, he has designed and built out vans on the side and sold them. He is great with all tools and loves to think creatively and build! Before Australia, he was a videographer and photographer and made YouTube vides and websites. Tom has a knack for creativity and photoshop as well! :)

Megan (me) is 29 from Missouri in the U.S. and I am Tom's building sidekick! I have a bachelor in International Relations and business from the University of Missouri. When I'm not supporting his endeavors, I am a teacher, aunt, fruit picker, au pair and anything I set my mind to. I'm outgoing and love a challenge!

While traveling this time around, we're hoping to end up at a more permanent base. As we get older, we want to find home! Mexico is our dream and doing workaways and meeting people are our biggest priorities to figure out what's next. We can't wait to join you on your projects, businesses, life, etc. and be your helping hand! Thank you for looking at our profile.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

I am very laid back and can learn quickly, so I am open to many types of work!

I can offer help in physical labor (gardening, building, etc.). I am great with kids! I can offer advice on social media. I can pretty much learn/do whatever you need me to. :) Here to help!

I have a lot of experience with teaching English as that was my primary responsibility in both China and Thailand. In China, I also lived with a big family and became very close all of them.

I have stayed in hostels in Europe and throughout parts of Asia, so I am accustomed to how they work and the environment that they have. I have actually made some of my closest friends at these hostels! I have hotel experience from a summer job while at university as well.

I spent a year working with a program helping immigrants and refugees navigate their new lives in the United States and have spent the rest of my post-graduate life abroad, so I am very accustomed to people from all over the world with many different ways of life.

Some of my hobbies include reading, hiking and creative writing. I am passionate about nonprofit work as well and try to stay up to date on current affairs. :)

Was noch ...

As I also mentioned above, some of my hobbies include hiking, reading and creative writing.

I discovered my love for writing while living in Thailand and documenting a crazy day I had. I've been writing ever since!

I've also been playing card games and doing puzzles in my free time. I love how card games are played all over the world. It's always a fun way to makes new friends and connections.

And of course, trying new foods and ways of cooking is one of the best parts of traveling. The spicer, the better! :)
