Hello! I'm Adam, 29, and I'm excited to travel, learn and teach around the world.

In 2024 I left my job of 5 years writing policy for the UK's national space programme to make a more direct and local impact, but still doing what I can to help people.

My number one passion is simply learning. I love to immerse myself in new skills, each one giving me a new way of seeing and interacting with the world, then taking those skills and teaching them to others.

I am extroverted, confident, positive, clean and respectful, and want to expand my understanding of the world through connections with others. I believe strongly in being open, empathetic and proactive in seeking out new cultures, ways of life, and perspectives on life to take with me and hope I can impart some wisdom as well as I make my way through life.

I am looking to learn more about sustainable and balanced ways of living in nature to potentially use in the future for my own projects wherever I end up!

I would love to learn any and all languages on offer! Brushing up on my Spanish which I used to know well would be fantastic, or getting some immersion in Arabic or Mandarin... I am also very happy to exchange and teach English.

I love to collect skills and hobbies, these include:

- Cooking, I would love to learn something from you
- Singing and Dance, teach me your local songs and dances!
- Renovations, DIY and fitting of my own apartment (lots of painting!)
- Basic pottery, blacksmithing and silversmithing, any new crafts
- Professional sales, public speaking and hosting events
- Film Photography
- Poetry
- Meditation and philosophy
- Martial arts and movement practices

additional but slightly retired include:
- Black belt in Karate and used to teach
- Grade 8 Saxophone (though a long time since I played!)
- Previously qualified life-guard (pool) and first-aid

Some examples of volunteering I have done:
- Teaching kids a variety of subjects, and training at an MMA gym in Borneo
- Teaching kids English in Cambodia
- Working at an elephant sanctuary in Thailand
- Working at a homestay and cafe in a treehouse village in Malaysia
- Homestay support in rural Taiwan
- I have also trained and volunteered to work around London at night, helping to create a safe space for women and vulnerable people.
- Construction site in Nepal building schools and toilets as part of disaster relief
- Small Permaculture farm in the Philippines

Was noch ...

I have been really enjoying climbing/bouldering for the past couple of years and would also love to pick up martial arts again where I can. Also enjoy learning new movement-based practices.

I enjoy reading, especially philosophy which is probably my favourite topic to talk about. People's reflections on life are one of the greatest ways to really understand them!

I also love all animals, so if you have animals I will be happy.
