Hi there, I'm Mika!
I hope you're having a wonderful day.

*in Italy until February 25*

I just finished my apprenticeship as a social worker in Germany in 2025 and now I'm exploring the world outside of employment. I'm a chill, outgoing human trying to find my place in the world and make it a better place for future generations!

I'm curious about community living, veganism (I'm not... Yet!) , animal care, self care, practicing solidarity and practicing a life with less hierarchy and more respect. Also making music and having fun! :)

Work wise I enjoy working together, especially with my host so I can really learn from their ideas, passion and knowledge. I enjoy cooking and baking and have experience in general building activities, gardening etc but I'm definitely not a pro :) I'm a big fan of dogs and other animals and have worked at a rescue shelter before.

I speak German & English (so far!)
I do have my license but no car, and I'm not an experienced driver yet.

Hallo Menschen!

Ich bin Mika, 23 Jahre alt und endlich fertig mit meiner Ausbildung als Jugend und Heimerzieher! :) Jetzt nutze ich endlich die Gelegenheit, mache mich frei vom schwabenland und erkunde den Rest der Welt!

Ich interessiere mich für community living, gelebte solidarität, veganismus, Musik, Tiere kümmern (nicht für wirtschaftliche Zwecke oder um die zu essen!), selbst reflektion, lesen, und mehr lernen über eine Gesellschaft mit mehr Respekt und weniger Hierarchien.

Hund(e) , Gitarre(n) und vegetarisches essen sind ein großes Plus für jeden Ort!

Ich arbeite gerne gemeinsam, vor allem auch mit den Hosts, damit ich mehr über eure Idee erfahren kann und von euren skills lernen kann.

I spent about 3 weeks and had a nice experience. Highlights were definitely the time with the other Workawayers, walking dogs and petting donkeys. vom Host (Help us maintain et renovate ...) für Workawayer ()

Two very nice weeks with Mika. She helped me a lot in gardening, sorting out old stuff , disassemble broken thermal solar collector , cutting branches and so on.
We had nice conversations, went to the cinema together and to my printing workshop.
Every thing went fine and easy.

We had a really nice time together.
He's absolutely easygoing, and fit right in. Coming from the city, naturally somewhat unskilled with farm tasks, but that didn't matter at all, because he's highly motivated to learn new things, isn't shy to get hands dirty and is also very diligent.
