We are currently waiting on a visa application to Italy and are therefore interested in non-Schengen visa countries this spring.
Beschreibung
We love creating and finding ways to use items in new and interesting ways. We like to plan out projects and sketch them then brainstorm on ideas and make lists of materials. We enjoy the creative process as much as the completion of a project! We are an active, creative married couple who have travelled to many European destinations as well as Central America and Japan. We are flexible and adaptable and can live simply. Margaret is a former civil/environmental engineer and project manager with lots of experience in construction design and building. Kenneth is a former entrepreneur with a background in finance, food, and coffee. We are passionate about the outdoors and the environment. We enjoy sailing, kayaking, skiing, camping, backpacking, travel, gardening, and eating great food we have prepared ourselves. We also love repairing things for continued use, repurposing items, listening to music, and reading. We are always willing to try something new!

HI, we can do all kinds of things. We spent the last 12 years renovating and landscaping our 1960s Colorado property. We have done carpentry, installed siding, built a shed, hung drywall, done plastering, hung wallpaper, painted, installed cabinets, basic plumbing and electrical, laid flagstone, installed a paver patio, refinished a deck, established an organic vegetable garden, planted fruit trees, built a hand stacked rock wall, set up a sprinkler system, installed tile on floors and walls, installed cabinets and counters, etc.

I sew, cook, preserve foods through canning and dehyration. We really like board games, love to read, and favor a game of pool or an opportunity to listen to live music.

They are also well able to work independently, and we were able to get things done, like fixing a canoe, that had been on the long finger for a long time.
You will never be short of conversation, and there were no awkward silences.
We were very happy and we woul'd say very lucky to have Margaret and Kenneth with us during those 3 weeks !
They are not only interesting, friendly and funny, but also very efficient and highly skilled.
And more, they are incredibly hard workers !
They would have worked all day if we hadn't told them to stop !
