Hello dear world!
I am Mauro from Colombia, based in Croatia since 2019.
I studied architecture and arts. I love design, building and practicality.
Since I was a child I inherited a passion for woodworking from my grandfather. In my youth I explored many fields, different techniques and building styles, my hands were trained to work fast and precise.
In between and after my studies I worked as a designer for a few architecture studios and later I decided to move into the "action field" again and went full time into building small furniture and decoration for private projects.
Before coming to Europe my last job was to design and build furniture and spaces for a hostel company. Most of my work was related to reusing, recycling, upcycling (furniture, spaces, materials).
I'm a quiet person, nature lover, I love all animals (specially dogs and cats), hiking and climbing. I have been sharing with beautiful people and volunteering in The Netherlands, Italy, Croatia, Germany, Turkey, Greece, Iceland and Norway. -

My main skill is the power and ability of adaptation to new environments and unexpected situations.
I'm a very handy person able to jump from timber framing and Metal work to origami, embroidery or macrame.
I can help you in any level/stage of a building or renovation project, from developing a concept, planning or budgets, to sketches, architecture drawings, 3D models or animations.
I have a trained eye for detail supported by enough experience in understanding the needs of a project thru the ability to comprehend the dynamic relation between user and space. -
