I'm Lukas, 27yo, currently living in Czech Republic where I finished my university studies, but I come from neighbouring country - Slovakia.

Education and experience:
I completed a master's studies in Social Education and Counseling programme and also in Strength and Conditioning. During my studies, I was volunteering for some time in a local group of Amnesty International (organising public events and petitions). I also attented a short course for organisers of weekend programs in an organisation focused on environmental education and volunteer work for the protection of nature and cultural sites (NGO organisation called Hnutí Brontosaurus). For a short period of time, I was helping with a grant proposals and marketing (e-mail, social media) for a small non-profit organisation dedicated to organising swimming lessons and leisure activities for people with disabilities.

As for experience of working abroad, in the past I worked in Scotland for a summer and then two times in Iceland, also for a summer season (work: housekeeper in accomodation, waiter in restaurant).

My interests:
I would like to gain new experience and learn about other countries, cultures and languages. My biggest passions are movement, nature, hiking and also hitchhiking. I have been hitchhiking in Slovakia, Czech republic, Austria, France, Greece and also Iceland and Scotland.

I am interested in the topics of health, social issues, education, mindfulness, poetry, cultures and languages.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

I am fluent in English and have A2-B1 level in French.

I have experience of working as a volunteer for a human rights organisation: organising public events and petitions about human rights issues. I also have experience of organising weekend programme for adults. The event was focused on environmental education, raising awareness about climate change issues and volunteer work for the protection of nature. Also I was helping one non-profit organisation that is providing swimming lessons and leisure-time activities for people with various disabilities. I was helping with fundraising, PR activities and briefly with personal assistance at a sports event.

When it comes to work abroad, I worked in Scotland and in Iceland (two times) for summer season. I worked as a waiter and in housekeeping/cleaning.
