Beschreibung

Helllooo! We are Kyla & Will we are Canadian and Australian and have been traveling around North America in our van for the last year and a half. We are planning on selling our van this spring and are looking for a summer opportunity to work somewhere beautiful and enjoy the surrounding community, meet new people, and learn new things.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

We are both trained chefs who love to cook elaborate dinners and have dinner parties. We love working hard, being outdoors, and learning new skills.

We spent our 2023 summer working on a Regenerative Agriculture farm on Bowen Island in BC Canada where we learned about cover crops, diversity, and soil health. Kyla has a love for all things permaculture and desire to learn by getting her hands dirty.

We worked for 2 months in Australia on a Ginger farm where we picked, loaded, & processed over 1.5 tonnes of ginger a week.

We also did some wwoofing on a family farm that was affected by the 2020 Australian Bushfires where we put up new fences, replanted veggie gardens, weeded, cleaned ash and cobwebs off the house, painted, and looked after animals.

We spent a few months on Vancouver Island where we were workaway-ing and building our van.

Was noch ...

We loooove to play board games and card games. We especially like Catan, Backgammon, Rummikub, and Euchre but we are willing to learn anything new.
