I am interested in the outdoors, experiencing different lands, cultures, and people. I enjoy cooking and eating food, water sports, and most things that keep me active and engaged with the present.

Beschreibung

Hello! I have so many experiences and interests it's hard to know where to begin. I grew up in the city of Chicago till the age of 25. With a thirst for adventure I packed my car with no end destination and ended up working on a dock with sailboats in San Diego, it was some of the best months of my life learning to sail and being on the ocean.

Eventually I felt the need to learn more about self sustainability and got the chance to do a worktrade at a homestead in Paonia, Colorado. There I learned skills in vegetable fermentation, plant medicine making, gardening, and various building projects. I also got the opportunity to help build the walls of a home using straw and clay.

Since then I've been living in various parts of Colorado and working jobs in the food industry and guiding rafting, kayaking, and rock climbing trips. I even started my own company Mystic Mushroom where I provide medicinal mushroom tinctures (non psychoactive), as well as mushroom based vegan food at my pop up stand.

What motivates me is working with like minded individuals towards a common goal in support of one another. I am very motivated to learn more about homesteading and building the skills to make it a reality for myself one day.

I have great skills in cooking, personal training, yoga that I am able to share. I am wilderness first responder certified, swift water certified, I am very physically capable and have a great drive to learn, help, and grow alongside others.

I am always looking for new experiences outdoors. I am very fond of water sports, rock climbing, and beach volleyball. Always willing to learn/try something new as well as teach whatever I am familiar with to someone new.
