Hi! I’m Jenny, from London, and my partner Martín is from Madrid. We met in Kentucky back in 2018 (random we know haha) and have been inseparable ever since! After living in Madrid for a while, we spent the last 1.5 years in Bondi Beach, Sydney (like most expats haha), before planning our move back to Spain this June!

We’re a friendly, easygoing, and sociable couple who love meeting people and experiencing new cultures. We both come from huge families and are very comfortable around kids — I’ve even worked as a teacher before. We’re both bilingual in English and Spanish, which makes it easy and fun for us to connect with people from all over the world. We truly believe the world is at its best when people travel, merge cultures, and learn from one another.

Before heading back to Europe, we’ll be travelling around this beautiful country in our rooftop tent. We’re fully self-sufficient, but we’re keen to do Workaways along the way because we love the idea of staying with locals, helping out, and getting a true taste of local life (plus enjoying a little bit of luxury compared to our tent!).

We’re very clean, respectful, and easy to live with. We’re fun, adaptable, and will try anything that are always eager to help and learn! We also both love animals - especially dogs and alpacas!!! I grew up with dogs, and Martín grew up with turtles, so we’re always happy and comfortable around pets and animals of all kinds :)

We’re excited to meet new people, help out wherever we can, and make the most of every experience along the way!

- Marketing manager with experience working at Netflix in Spain and most recently for an architect in Sydney
- English teacher experience with children aged 3–12
- Childcare (holds a Working With Children Check and First Aid Certificate)
- Social media support, content, and general computer/tech help
- Love cleaning, organising, gardening, and keeping spaces tidy

Martín:
- Industrial engineer with hands-on experience in construction
- Carpentry, building, maintenance, and general handywork
- Gardening and outdoor work
- Very interested in learning more about renewable energy and sustainable projects

Both of Us:

Was noch ...

- We are slightly obsessed with Monopoly Deal and we’ll happily play for an hour (or more!) most evenings (Martín doesn’t stand a chance against me haha)
- We both love to dance… Martín is definitely better though(those Spanish moves!), while I provide questionable rhythm.
- Travelling is a huge part of our lives. Our favourite countries so far are India and Mexico. I lived in a treehouse in India with my parents when I was a toddler so it has a special place in my heart!
- I’m obsessed with stars, night skies, sunsets- I could happily stare at the sky for hours.
- Martín is obsessed with understanding how things work — machines, structures, systems — the classic engineering brain at work haha

  I (Jenny) don't eat red meat but only for health reasons! Adjustments do not need to be made though! Martin eats absolutely anything.
