Hello everyone!
My name is Evelina, I am 20 years old and from Germany.
At the moment I am studying Geography in Bonn, but whenever I have time off I love to travel, explore new places and connect with people from all walks of life.
I feel most at peace in nature, whether it's sleeping under the stars or getting active with outdoor sports and adventure.

Traveling has taught me so much already and I am incredibly grateful for all the inspiring people I have met so far.
I bring experience in organic farming through previous workaway stays and my current minijob as a gardener.
Besides that I have spent a few years working in the field of catering and ecotourism, so I generally enjoy working with people and am comfortable with working independently and in a team.

I am eager to learn more on permaculture, organic agriculture, self-sufficient lifestyles, herbalism and anything else you are happy to share!
I am happy to help wherever I can and am a big fan of open, honest communication so that everyone feels comfortable and enjoys the experience.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

Working experience as a volunteer:
Last summer I have worked as a volunteer at the Atlantic Whale and Dolphin Foundation on Tenerife and gained lots of experience on volunteering. The main tasks there were the photo identification and behaviour analysis of whales and dolphins in their natural habitat, while also educating tourists and locals on animal & wildlife conversation and the protection of the oceans.
Besides that, I have also learned many housekeeping skills in my time there.

Working experience with children:
I have worked together with children (aged 3 upwards) or taken care of them since I was 12 and therefore have lots of experience. For example I have been working as a babysitter for some time, but also gave extra tuition to children aged 6 to 12 and have worked at our local museum in exhibitions for children. When working with children, I pay special attention to their needs and never lose my patience.

Working experience with animals:
I have got a dog, a cat and many fishes and therefore know how to take care ouf these animals. Throughout my whole life I have also been in close contact to nature and animals in general and therefore attach great importance to the preservation of ecosystems and animal rights.
Unfortunately, I have quite a few allergies against animal hair (horses) and hay and straw and therefore am a bit restricted in working on typical farms.

Working experience in agriculture and nature:
I have quite some experience with gardening work at home and know the basics. I hope to learn more specific knowledge.
