Hi! I’m Eva — a curious traveller and digital nomad from Barcelona with a big love for people, nature, and meaningful experiences.
Over the past decade, I’ve lived and worked across Portugal, Scotland, the UK, Ireland, and now Austria, blending my freelance digital projects with volunteering. It’s my way to stay grounded, connected, and part of local life wherever I go.

After a wonderful summer volunteering at a water sports school in Austria, I’m now ready for the winter season excited to trade the ocean breeze for the mountain air and spend my days helping, learning, and being active in the Alps.

I’ve supported family restaurants, eco-projects, and guesthouses, and I genuinely enjoy all kinds of tasks: preparing breakfast, helping in the kitchen, serving guests, keeping spaces cozy and organised, or simply bringing good energy to the team. I like things done well, but always with a smile.

Alongside volunteering, I work remotely as a digital strategist, which keeps me creative and organised. If it’s ever useful, I’m happy to share ideas for social media, branding, or communication.

I speak English, Spanish, and Catalan fluently, as well as conversational Italian, and I’m learning German. I love practising with locals and picking up new words every day.

As a person, I’m reliable, warm, and positive. I enjoy teamwork, meaningful conversations, and quiet moments in nature just as much.
In my free time, you’ll usually find me skiing, hiking, journaling, or exploring local markets with a camera or a good coffee in hand.

For me, volunteering is about more than helping; it’s about connection, kindness, and the small everyday moments that make a place feel like home.

Volunteering gives me a chance to slow down, connect with people, and contribute to something real beyond my professional world.

Over the years, I’ve developed a mix of practical and creative skills that I bring with dedication, care, and heart.

In volunteer settings, I feel confident and happy helping with:

Cooking: mostly vegetarian meals, creative and organized in the kitchen, always clean and mindful.

Housekeeping: preparing rooms, laundry, keeping common spaces welcoming and tidy.

Guest assistance: hospitality, helping with breakfast or dinner service, making people feel at home.

Outdoor help: gardening, snow shovelling, or light maintenance when needed.

Alongside that, I’m also a digital strategist, working remotely on international projects.

I love slow mornings, creative cooking, and meaningful late-night conversations.
