Hello! My name is Elise and I have recently quit my job working with mobile phones in the hopes of experiencing more of what the world has to offer. I can’t wait to start making my way through Europe and learn about their countries unique culture, cuisines and people over the next year. I love getting stuck in on projects, meeting new people, visiting new places, and above all, trying new things.
As a person I am practical, clean and organised, respectful, mature, can be left alone to complete tasks, and am more than happy to entertain myself and find things to do in down time. I am also very easygoing and easy to get along with, and have no trouble making people feel comfortable in my company.
Above all I want to try new things and get out of my comfort zone. I would love to learn/help cook local dishes, get involved with any gardening or upkeep, hopefully pick up some different languages (especially Spanish), visit the surrounding region, help out with any animals, and just get stuck in with whatever needs doing on the day.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

I love working with animals, and have plenty of experience with caring for cats and dogs. I am interested in working with horses and/or donkeys at some point to learn more about their care.
I have recently helped renovate my granddads house and so could help with any painting/cleaning/other decorating.
I have spent a lot of time gardening and could help with weeding/planting. If there is the opportunity to help growing fruit or vegetables I would love to learn this also as I would love to become more sustainable and reduce my environmental impact.
I have worked in the technology sector for several years so have a fairly good knowledge (specifically with mobile phones) if this could be of any help to anybody.
I have a TEFL qualification for teaching English and am more than happy to help teach anyone who wants to learn.
Finally, I love to write and have done some work as a proofreader in the past. So if I could be of any help with writing any blogs or even proofreading anything you’d like sent out about your property or business, I would love to help with that.

I’m honestly very flexible in what I could help with, and while I may not know something straight away, I don’t need to be told twice. If I have any questions I will of course ask but for the most part I know I would be able to be trusted to complete any projects to a high standard.

Was noch ...

I do enjoy cooking when I get the chance, love going out kayaking, hiking, and visiting historical sites, trying new cuisines. I also love playing a bit of scrabble or boggle - though I’ll try any new games if I think I can win ( only joking :D )

I’ve always thought trying workaway to really experience a place as opposed to going for a quick two week holiday sounded brilliant. I just would love the opportunity to live closer to nature and see a little bit of what’s out there all while working on some projects that will make a difference.
