Starting a career break in January 2025!

Beschreibung

Hi! My name is Dagmara and I'm quitting my professional office job in London, England to go on a career break because I've realised that a sedentary 9-5 office lifestyle doesn't make me happy anymore. I'm outdoorsy and adventurous and therefore want to live closer to nature - I love hiking, trail running, exploring on foot, surfing, skiing. I'm interested in learning to grow, farm and take care of animals. I'm also a people's person - meeting new people and ensuring customers' satisfaction and providing a good service motivates me.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

I've recently been working in banking and finance and for the UK government, so have a lot of transferable and professional skills: effective communication, adaptability, problem solving and time management. I've experience working in hospitality (hotels, bars, restaurants and events) and volunteering in a homeless shelter, so I've good customer service skills and understand how to provide enjoyable service and experience to clients. I also love DIY and doing small jobs around the property thanks to both of my parents being engineers.

I'm a 29 year old professional originally from Poland but living in London, United Kingdom for the past 10 years. I've held various office jobs in central government policy making and in banking and I've recently realised this office lifestyle has stopped working for me. I absolutely love travelling and exploring so often plan my trips around being close to the nature. I'm a really active person and love doing a variety of sports. At the same time, I'm very interested in spiritual/mental health, do yoga, sound bath, meditations etc. I'm starting a career break to re-discover myself, be closer to nature and explore different ways of living.
