Beschreibung
Hello! My name is Callahan. My partner, Orion, and I are hoping to spend a few months in Argentina and Chile around February and March. We’re both sculptors and artists who care deeply about strengthening our relationships with the land and with the people we meet. We’re excited to learn from farmers and contribute meaningfully to the communities that host us.
We are native English speakers, and Orion is also fluent in Spanish.
I recently moved back to my hometown of Toronto after several years in Los Angeles, where I studied animation at CalArts. I love to write and play music, build ceramic sculptures, rock climb, and spend time outdoors.
Orion was born in California and has also lived in Spain and New Zealand. He’s a passionate gardener and ceramic artist with a strong interest in growing food and caring for soil. He's also a life-long equestrian and has lots of experience riding and handling horses.
Together, we’re drawn to permaculture, homesteading, mycology, restorative ecology, and community-building through land stewardship. We value the chance to develop a direct relationship with our food, and we’re eager to exchange skills, learn new ones, and support the rhythm of farm life.
