Hi, my name is Dani and I am from Spain. I love outdoor life, nature, and working with animals and gardens.

I have real experience working with horses and I really enjoy hands-on work in gardens, vegetable patches, and practical outdoor tasks. I am comfortable doing physical work, using tools, and helping with whatever is needed.

I enjoy family environments, living with people, and contributing to daily life. I also have a very good connection with children and I like helping and spending time with them.

I am a calm, responsible, and hardworking person. I adapt quickly to new environments and always try to have a positive and helpful attitude.

My English is basic, but I am very motivated to improve it through daily life and patient communication.

I have a very good connection with children. I enjoy spending time with them, playing, helping, and creating a positive environment. I am used to being around children as I have 8 nephews and nieces.

I love animals, especially dogs and horses. I enjoy caring for them, being in contact with them, and helping with whatever is needed.

I am a very practical and handy person. I am good with tools and can help with maintenance, painting, repairs, basic electrical work, and general manual tasks. I adapt quickly and learn easily.

I am also passionate about cooking. I enjoy preparing meals, trying new recipes, and learning about different cultures and cuisines.

Vom Workawayer () für Host (Home and garden projects help ...)

I’ll try to keep this short, although it’s difficult because I have nothing but gratitude for this wonderful family.

From the very first moment, they welcomed me with open arms and made me feel at home. They have three amazing children, and every single one of them was kind, friendly, and welcoming towards me.

The house is beautiful, surrounded … read more by nature, trees, and plants, with no buildings or pollution around. It’s the perfect place to relax and enjoy the peace and quiet. The bedroom is comfortable, the bed is great, and you’ll have everything you need. The food is delicious, and they’re also happy for you to cook your own favourite meals, which I really appreciated.

The work is easy, varied, and enjoyable. I helped with painting, moving materials, cutting the grass, driving when needed, cooking, and other general jobs around the house and garden. Nothing was difficult, and I never felt like I was doing hard work. It was always rewarding, and I felt that my help was genuinely appreciated.

If you love plants, Pearse is an absolute genius. His knowledge is incredible, and he truly enjoys sharing it. I learned so much from him. Working alongside him never felt like work—it felt like spending time with a good friend. He has a fantastic sense of humour, is always in a good mood, and was incredibly patient with my English. Thanks to him, I improved my English far more than I expected. I have enormous respect and affection for him.

Margo is simply a ray of sunshine. She is always smiling, full of positive energy, funny, kind, and has a special way of making everyone around her feel happy and welcome. She is always willing to help in any way she can.

They are both very hardworking people, but they also know how to enjoy life. They are always planning interesting trips, visiting beautiful places, or doing something fun together. I was lucky enough to go to several concerts with them in their caravan, and those are memories I will treasure forever.

I truly feel incredibly lucky to have met this family. They gave me so much more than just a place to stay. They gave me friendship, trust, kindness, unforgettable experiences, and memories that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

Without a doubt, I will come back next year because this is the kind of family that stays in your heart forever. Meeting them has been one of the best experiences of my time in Ireland.

I recommend this Workaway 100%. If you have the opportunity to stay with Margo and Pearse, don't hesitate for a second. Give them your best and help as much as you can around their wonderful home. They truly appreciate every bit of help, and the experience is incredibly rewarding for everyone involved.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart, Margo, Pearse, and the children, for making me feel like part of your family from the very first day. I’m leaving with unforgettable memories, so much affection, and the hope of seeing you all again very soon.
