*UPDATE for December 2025 - January 2026*
We're planning to be in Scotland for about 2 weeks towards the end of December (post 26th Dec) and would be interested in any house sitting/animal sitting opportunities before we go back to our full time jobs in March.

Hello, we're Evie and Chris from Leeds, England and we're soon to set off on our 9 month trip around the world, where we'd love to spend some time getting to know other cultures, traditions and cuisine.

We both love the outdoors, walking, cycling and camping, we also love getting involved in projects and learning new skills. Chris is currently in the middle of building a traditional cedar canoe whilst Evie is either doing pottery, gardening or redecorating the house.

We have lots of skills to bring to any work away opportunity including woodwork, painting and decorating, gardening, landscaping and much more.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

We both have a wealth of skills to bring to a work away opportunity and are happy to get involved with any task. Chris currently works as a project manager for public rights of way, which sees him repairing the footpath network across the district. As a result he holds multiple licences for various bits plant including, excavator, telehandler, tractor, chainsaw and skidsteer. He enjoys building things for both work and hobbies and often spends his weekends woodworking or landscaping.

Evie currently works in Adult Social Care and main hobbies include ceramics, reading, gardening and cooking. She also loves animals, caring for her own and friends dogs and is always keen to do some painting and decorating. Evie always supports with maintaining a clean and tidy space and is happy to get stuck in to everything and try new things!
