Beschreibung

I am continually motivated to improve myself so that I can have the most positive impact on my community. I have a degree in civil engineering, have worked on the construction of many community projects, volunteered with social services organizations, and am currently completing a masters degree in counselling psychology. I have the ability to study remotely for part of the program and would therefore like to experience other cultures while giving back to the communities in any way I can. I get joy from meaningful connections, time in nature and creative projects.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

My educational/career background is civil engineering, and so I have many skills related to engineering, construction and project management. I have volunteered with homeless shelters and as a crisis line responder. I have completed my TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) certification with an interest (but no professional experience) in teaching. I am currently studying counselling psychology and developing skills in problem solving and driving empowerment. I am a qualified as a yoga teacher (500 hr YTTC). I have a passion for photography and filmmaking, with significant experience in post-production as well.

Was noch ...

I am very open-minded and curious; I love new experiences and can get excited about almost anything. In general, my hobbies and interests are: Nature (camping, hiking, canoeing), mindfulness (meditation, journalling, yoga), art (filmmaking, photography, painting, poetry, reading) and travel (cultural experiences, food, adventure). I love just about any physical activity, board game or activity with fun people!
