ESPAÑOL:
¡Hola! Mi nombre es Anna, y actualmente estoy planeando mi viaje a Costa Rica.
Me considero una chica bastante tranquila, amante de los animales, el arte, la naturaleza y las buenas conversaciones.

Soy de Barcelona, una gran ciudad donde siempre hay movimiento, y grandes edificios con mucha riqueza arquitectónica. Aun así, creo que a veces vale la pena alejarte de tu zona de confort, para explorar la riqueza que abarca el planeta.

Personalmente, la gran biodiversidad de Costa Rica, ha sido el motivo principal que me motivó a visitar este país, porqué además es una realidad que contrasta mucho con mi día a día en la ciudad de Barcelona.

Aun así, creo que no puedes conocer una tierra sin conocer también las personas que habitan en ella. En mi caso, emprendo este viaje sola, y creo que hacer un voluntariado me puede acercar más a la visión y el respeto que tienen de los Ticos sobre su país.
Mi inquietud por conocer otras personas, también me llevó a graduarme en Psicología, y a especializarme en el ámbito social, lo que me permite entender la realidad de las personas en un contexto más amplio.

Además, en mi tiempo libre, siempre me ha gustado plasmar mi sensibilidad a través del arte, y también conectando con los animales, ya que actualmente convivo con gatos, y también he tenido perros.

ENGLISH:
Hello! My name is Anna, and I am currently planning my trip to Costa Rica.
I consider myself an easy going girl, and a lover of animals, art, nature and good conversations.

I'm from Barcelona, a big city where there is always movement, and big buildings with a lot of architectural infrastructure. Even so, I think the world is very big, and sometimes it's worth getting away from your comfort zone, to explore the plenty the planet has to offer.
Personally, the great biodiversity of Costa Rica, has been the main reason that motivated me to visit this country, because it's also something that contrasts with my day to day life in the city of Barcelona.

Even so, I believe that you can't really get to know a country without also getting to know the people who live there. In my case, I am taking this trip alone, and I believe that volunteering can bring me closer to the vision and respect that Ticos have for their land.
My interest learning about people, also led me to graduate in Psychology, and to specialize in the social field, which allows me to understand the reality of people in detail.

In addition, in my free time, I have always liked to express my sensitivity through art, and I also love connecting with animals, as I currently live with some cats, and I have also had dogs.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

ESPAÑOL:
Como vivo en Barcelona, mi lengua materna es el catalán, además del castellano. A parte, mis conocimientos de inglés son medios, lo que me permite entender las conversaciones orales y escritas, y poder tener una base de comunicación en esa lengua, aunque no sea igual de fluida que con el castellano.
Además, tengo cierta sensibilidad para conectar con los animales, me gusta aprender de ellos, y respetar sus tiempos, y me encanta el poder de comunicación que tienen sin que sea necesario hablar.
A parte, en mis tiempos libres me gusta poder experimentar distintas disciplinas de arte: aunque no soy especialista en ninguna, he experimentado con las acuarelas, las ceras, los acrílicos, el tallado de sellos, el crochet, la cerámica... de hecho, trabajé en una tienda de bellas artes un tiempo, lo que me permitió conocer aún más las posibilidades que tiene la disciplina artística. Para mi, las manualidades son actividades que me ayudan a centrarme en una cosa y a poder desconectar.
Por lo que respecta a mi formación, me gradué en Psicología y me especialicé en el ámbito social. Me gusta conectar con las personas y poder conocer otras realidades, intentando aprender y sin juzgarlas. He tenido experiencia en voluntariados humanitarios de mi zona, y también he trabajado profesionalmente en ONGs, coordinando proyectos que tenían un impacto en la comunidad.
Aunque esta es mi historia, estoy abierta a ampliar mi rango de habilidades y conocimientos, por lo que estaría abierta a poder aprender otras disciplinas o a intentar ayudar en otros ámbitos donde sea necesaria mi ayuda.
Este apartado también lo he desarrollado pensando en lo que puedo aportar yo como persona, ya que entiendo que en caso de poder ingresar en un voluntariado, es importante que conozcan mi visión para ver si encajo con su proyecto :)

ENGLISH:
As I live in Barcelona, my native language is Catalan, a part from Spanish. Besides, my knowledge of English is in an average level, which allows me to understand oral and written conversations, and to be able to communicate in that language, although I am not as fluent as with Spanish.

In addition, I have a certain sensitivity with animals. I like to learn from them, and I love the power of communication they have without the need to speak.
Besides, in my free time I like to experiment with different art disciplines: although I am not a specialist in any of them, I have experimented with watercolors, colored crayons, acrylics, stamp carving, crochet, ceramics... in fact, I worked in an arts supplies store for a while, which allowed me to learn even more about the possibilities of the artistic discipline. For me, crafts are activities help me to focus on one thing and allow me to disconnect from the outer world.

I graduated in Psychology and specialized in the social field. I like to connect with people and get to know other realities, trying to learn without judging them. I've had some experience in humanitarian volunteering around my area (Barcelona), and I have also worked professionally in NGOs, coordinating projects that had an impact on the local community.

Although this is my story, I am open to expand my range of skills and knowledge, so I would be open to learn other disciplines or try to help in other areas where my help is needed.

I have also developed this section thinking about what I can contribute as a person, since I understand that in case of being able to join a volunteer program, it's important that you can connect with my vision to see if I fit with your project :)
