I’m working on improving my German and hope to become comfortable speaking the language and understanding local culture and life.

Beschreibung

I am a 55year old empty nester mom of two . I have a business degree and an English language teacher qualification (CELTA-Certificate of English Language Teaching to Adults). I love to travel and enjoy languages. I am currently learning German and beside gaining some comfort in actually using the language, I would love the opportunity to immerse myself in the culture, to experience the attitudes, thinking, lifestyle, cuisine, the whole package.

Alongside my native land of Hungary, I have also lived and gone to school in the Netherlands, the U.S., Canada and the U.K., I qualify as a native speaker of English.

I am used to taking care of my daughters, a house, a garden and our beloved German Shepherd, so I think I can blend in well with most families and do my share of whatever needs doing. I like to swim, hike and do yoga or read a good book, enjoy colorful conversations with a nice meal and a glass wine. I am a curious, but peaceful person with a nice degree of freedom to enjoy and explore the world.

I am used to various cultural environments and am very interested in exploring and learning about new ones.

I have decades of cooking and household experience, so I think I can be helpful in that area.

I have a large dog and have taught him many things, which can be helpful if you need any dog walking/caring help.

I am a single mother and raised my two daughters now 19 and 23. I like children and can be helpful taking care of them.

I have an English teaching certification and 5 years of teaching experience.
