Hi there! I come from the beautiful small community town Stroud in England, and am currently beginning my adventures and looking forward to the years ahead of me. I’m in my gap year and have completely fallen in love with travelling and immersing myself in life different to my own, and so have decided to have a second gap year and contribute to the wider world, and so I’ve joined Workaway. I am a very sunny sociable person who, from a young age, has never struggled with forming connections with people from around the world, even with possible language barriers, I believe I have an ability through my kind nature to form connections with a variety of people. I’m really looking forward to exploring new connections and learning new skills which will inevitably help me for my lifetime. I have a passion for music, from singing and playing guitar, to recently forming a DJ career for myself.. since I enjoy dancing so much I really enjoy providing music I know that will be fun to dance to.
My passions lie in the love to help and connect with others, and I am looking forward to seeing what adventures I embark on in my Workaway journey.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

After starting work from the age of 14, over the years I have gained many skills which I believe would be useful in a range of roles.
My first job was babysitting, which I started at age 14, and as my experience has progressed, for the past 2 years I have been a full time childminder. My ability to communicate with young children and my maturity enabling responsibility has meant my childminding skills are very high.
I have also worked as a barista in a customer facing role, and so my negotiation skills and being able to manage in a high pressure in environment were shown.
I have been working in a natural supplements warehouse since last summer, and it has been my first 9-5 full time job. This job has given me skills of personal organisation, to be punctual, and also I’ve really enjoyed the aspect of working together with my colleagues, since the work requires great communication.
My skills from work have become a great asset to me, however I also have always had a love for the outdoors, and living in such a green, beautiful area, I’ve always been an advocate for a more healthy, green world. I look forward to seeing what opportunities there are on Workaway to fuel this love.

Was noch ...

I am a big fun lover/seeker, and so really enjoy games, music, dancing and anything which makes my body feel good. I enjoy cooking with others, and the feeling of community among people. I love to move my body and dance to music which makes me feel free within myself. I’m really looking forward to meeting new people to create, move, grow, and work with.
