Hi everyone! I will be backpacking around Europe from March through to the end of June, I love all things artsy and outdoorsy, I look forward to meeting you!

Hi!
My name is Aisha, I'm 21 years old and setting out on a journey to explore Europe. I'm a reasonably experienced workaway-er, having had 4 very different but respectively awesome hosts and experiences. While I will try my hand at basically anything, I am particularly passionate about environmental, spiritual, artistic and community-based projects. In my free time I love gardening, going hiking, reading, painting, seeing live music and immersing myself in local arts and culture. I am currently studying a Bachelor of Environmental Policy, which aligns with my work as a nature-based educator, in which I run excursions for children! I also work casually at a cafe. I am very resourceful and promise to be a good set of hard-working hands... I have done lots of odd jobs, baby sitting, party hosting, lamb feeding, car washing, pergola painting and everything in-between. I am up for trying anything new and learning as I go. I also consider myself pretty good company, I love sharing stories over a meal, playing board games and just generally connecting with people from all walks of life. I hope this gives you a bit of an idea on myself, I can't wait to meet you! 🦋🌞

Was könntest du arbeiten?

I am an artist, mostly practising in watercolour and pastels. I have dreams of trying my hand at a mural or a mosaic project. I have keen attention to detail and will put lots of passion into any projects involving beautifying/creating/decorating.

I am very experienced in working with children of all ages, I run excursions for a nature-based play organisation. With the children, we do cubby building, magic potions, watercolours, clay play and more. I have also volunteered in kindergartens and done lots of babysitting. I love spending time with children and would be grateful to continue to play and learn alongside them on my travels.

I am in my element out in nature, so anything that involves working outside under the sun is perfect! Gardening in particular is something I love. If you have a permaculture project I would be especially interested in helping out and learning more about that!

I am handy around the house, having done lots of housesitting and having lived independently for many years. I enjoy cooking (predominantly vegetarian) and am happy to help in preparing meals.

Finally, I am well versed in working with animals, whether it be collecting eggs, feeding goats or walking dogs, I have no problem looking after any non-human friends you may have!

Overall, I bring a willingness and excitement to learn and help with whatever it is you want a hand with!
