    Beschreibung

We are a small collective taking care of a beautiful permacultural garden of 2.5 hectares, chosing an alternative way of living with a truthful intention to create with the Nature surrounding us.

We are located just at the Swiss border near Geneva.

30 years ago, the land were only farm crops turned into a flourishing garden hosting biodiversity. Over the last decade, many people contributed to make this land, an authentic small piece of heaven.

Today, Mathieu and Morgane are at the heart of the Microferme des Jardins du Nant project to keep on preserving what has been created and planting new seeds for new projects.
The main activities on the land is divided into two poles : the gardening side (aromatic plants, orchard, vegetable garden, and transformation of the production into a variety of products) and the hospitality side with a polyvalent communal space hosting events, workshops, course (beekeeping, yoga, wedding, painting etc.)

We are more than happy to welcome anyone willing to share good vibes, experiences, new knowledge to start growing a small community to honor and take care of this wonderful place.
Having a workaway experience with us will give you the opportunity to experience life following seasonal rhythm, working in the garden, participate in building, sharing knowledge and participate in a project that is always reshaping as the seasons and opportunities evolve.
We appreciate people that choose to stay on the land for a little while, this is kind of the best way to explore the variety of things happening on the land and slowly find your own pace here and getting a bit more independant too. We do appreciate longer stays this is also the best way to connect and learn from each other therefore we start welcoming you for a minimum stay of 1 month (4 weeks).

Our link with the surrounding nature is a key motive to our activities here. As we are just at the edge of the big forest of Jussy we are lucky to have a lot of wildlife around our areas of activities.
Here you can find a little video from the garden seen from above that has been filmed a couple of years ago but still gives an idea of the land you might come spend time with us : ask us for the link

The forest nearby hosts a wild reserve with protected swamps and damp forest which is beautiful all year long.
The city of Geneva (30 min away by bus) is a small but intense cultural and multi-ethnic city with a lot to see.
All around us we are surrounded with the Alps (30min - 1hour away) which you can explore and wander or ski whether which season you are coming to see us.
Our previous workawayers enjoyed exploring the region with the bike at their disposal.
