Beschreibung

Hello, my name is Zoey, I come from China. My college major is Business Administration and worked as an ordinary company employee in the city for many years. A few years ago, I visited Jingdezhen and was introduced to the art of ceramics. This experience inspired me to quit my job and move there, where I learned more and established my own ceramic studio.

Besides creating functional tableware, I also taught myself how to make sculptures. I sometimes attend the local weekend market to sell my works.

Beyond ceramics, I've also explored other materials, such as woodworking and metalwork. I love working with different materials.

Earlier this year, I spent a month in Nepal studying yoga and obtained my 200-hour Yoga Teacher Certification. Now, I occasionally teach yoga to friends on weekends. I believe a good life shouldn't be solely about work; it should be a harmonious balance of body and mind. I love yoga and meditation, as they have greatly benefited my work and overall well-being.

I love traveling and making friends. This is my first time to join Workaway, and I really love the idea of it.

I like making things by my hands. In my own studio, I handmade a lot of things: wood, metal, clay...I can drive,cook, teach yoga and always ready to learn new skills.
