I am passionate about animals and the environment, which led me to work in an animal sanctuary, that was home to 140 different species. I can care for all types of animals from tarantulas to camels! This type of work was extremely rewarding and physical, lifting 70 pound bales of hay is quite a workout!
Key experience gained:
- Trained to administer medication
- Daily observation of animals for behavior and health changes
- Ensuring all enclosures are safe
- Created an in-depth enrichment program, working closing with Cheyenne Mountain Zoo
- Trained volunteers on daily operations
Pet parent to two Huskies whom I adored for 12.5 years but they have sadly passed.
I recently returned from a 3 month workaway in Greece, volunteering at an animal rescue. caring for 40 dogs, 22 cats, 5 donkeys, 3 mules and a horse! Absolutely loved every minute.
I have an entrepreneurial spirit, and have had great success as a Mid Century Modern furniture business owner, an Airbnb Superhost, a pet sitting business and spent two years renovating a 50 year old British Double Decker bus!
My hobbies include traveling to 38 countries, alpine and cross country skiing, sailing, paddle boarding, kayaking. I love going to comedy clubs. Being a plant based foodie I love to cook. I am a founding member of "The Wild Animal Refuge" and a member of the "The Wild Animal Sanctuary" both based in Colorado USA

I love to read, travelling, learning about new cultures, going to the theatre, classical music concerts actually all Iive music, cinema. I also like to keep fit and meditate.
