Welcome to my profile!

My name is Yusuf. I’m 28 years old, was born and raised in Germany, and am currently traveling through Latin America while doing a little online work on the side as a language teacher.

I worked as an IT consultant for an American company before I finally decided to leave that profession because I wanted to contribute more meaningfully to society. So I decided to dedicate myself to helping stray animals and also to volunteering and improving myself by learning new skills like gardening and construction—because I hope to one day own my own piece of land as well and develop it whilst hopefully also hosting volunteers of my own.

I love working and helping people, as well as trying to maintain a lifestyle that’s as environmentally friendly and sustainable as possible. That’s why I’d love to volunteer for causes that pursue similar goals and aim to help sustain our planet, though I’m willing to participate in any activity or volunteer work that helps people first and foremost :)

As for construction and gardening, I know I lack some skills and experience, but I’m very motivated to learn more and improve in these areas. I also have the Cambridge CELTA certificate, so I’m a certified English teacher, and I’m currently teaching English to people who work for large companies, but I also love working with and teaching the language to children of all ages.

I'm also very interested in recording videos of how I'm helping stray dogs, as well as improving my video editing and filming skills. That's why I bought the DJI Osmo Pocket 4, and I also have an Action 4. So if you're interested, I could also record videos or do something on social media.

Overall, I’m a laid-back person who loves life, enjoys meeting new people, and discovering how to be useful and help those in need—and what the world needs. I'm sure there's much more I could tell you about myself, but I'd rather do that over a hot cup of tea or sweating together in the melting sun.

Mi nombre es Yusuf, tengo 28 años, nací y crecí en Alemania y actualmente estoy viajando en america latina y trabajando en linea un poco al lado.

He trabajado como consultor de TI para una empresa estadounidense antes de que finalmente decidió dejar esa profesión porque quería contribuir de una manera más significativa a la sociedad, entonces decidí dedicarme a ayudar los animales de la calle, y tambien mejorarme con aprender mas habilidades como jardineria y construccion. Por que Espero poder tener algún día mi propio terreno tambien.

Me encanta trabajar y ayudar a la gente, así como intentar mantener un estilo de vida lo más respetuoso posible con el medio ambiente y sostenible. Por ello me encantaría ser voluntariado en causas que persigan objetivos similares e intenten ayudar a sostener nuestro planeta, aunque estoy dispuesta a participar en cualquier actividad y voluntariado que ayude a la gente en primer lugar :)

En lo que respecta a la construcción y la jardinería, ya lo sé que me faltan habilidades y experiencia pero estoy muy motivado a aprender mas y mejorarme en estas areas. Tambien tengo el certificado CELTA del Cambridge, asi que tambien soy profesor titulado de ingles y ahora estoy ensenando ingles a personas que trabajan para grandes empresas, pero tambien me encanta trabajar con y enseñar el idioma a niños de cualquier edad.

Ademas estoy muy interesado en grabar videos de como estoy ayudando a los perros de la calle, tambien mejorar mis habilidades para editar y grabar videos. Por eso compré la DJI Osmo Pocket 4 y tambien tengo un Action 4. Entonces si estan interesado, tambien podria grabar videos o hacer algo con los redes sociales.

En general soy una persona despreocupada que ama la vida, le encanta conocer gente nueva y descubrir como ser utíl y ayuda a los que necesitarian y lo que necesito el mundo.

I worked as an IT Consultant in Germany after having studied Cultural Anthropology with a focus on Digital Infrastructure so I have a decent knowledge of Information Technologies, as well as the study of people, their everyday tendencies and how social realities are created in real time.

I also studied to become a teacher for two years and completed multiple internships at schools, as well as kindergartens, due to which I have a good amount of experience with working with and teaching children, especially when it comes to English and topics such as Politics and Economics.

I also worked in a warehouse of a pharmaceutical company (Fresenius) for three years during my studies so I am used to physical labour, something I actually quite enjoy.

Otherwise I am a good decision-maker, process information quickly and I am a quick learner and pick up things very fast.

Trabajé como consultora informática en Alemania después de haber estudiado Antropología Cultural con especialización en Infraestructura Digital, por lo que tengo un buen conocimiento de las tecnologías de la información, así como del estudio de las personas, sus tendencias cotidianas y cómo se crean las realidades sociales en tiempo real.

También estudié magisterio durante dos años y realicé múltiples prácticas en colegios, así como en guarderías, por lo que tengo una buena cantidad de experiencia trabajando y enseñando a niños, especialmente en lo que se refiere al inglés y a temas como Política y Economía.

También trabajé en un almacén de una empresa farmacéutica (Fresenius) durante tres años durante mis estudios, por lo que estoy acostumbrada al trabajo físico, algo que en realidad me gusta bastante.

Por lo demás, tomo buenas decisiones, proceso la información con rapidez y aprendo rápido.

Was noch ...

I am a big basketball fan and have been following the sport for years, I also thoroughly enjoy board games, as well as going out in nature and hiking/trekking as well as camping. Furthermore I love reading books and writing, I am currently in the process of writing my own story and I am a big fan of Japanese Manga.

In general I love being amongst people, having cultural exchanges and making new experiences, in the future I would love to get more into gardening and other craftsmanship.


Soy un gran aficionado al baloncesto y sigo este deporte desde hace años, también me gustan mucho los juegos de mesa, así como salir a la naturaleza y hacer senderismo/trekking, así como acampar. Además me encanta leer libros y escribir, actualmente estoy en proceso de escribir mi propia historia y soy un gran fan del Manga japonés.

En general me encanta estar entre la gente, tener intercambios culturales y hacer nuevas experiencias, en el futuro me encantaría dedicarme más a la jardinería y otras artesanías.
