¡Hello!
We are Yesenia and Henry, a couple from Lima- Peru, who have been together for over 5 years. Our native language is Spanish, but we want to improve our English. We are traveling to Australia for the first time and chose Adelaide as our first destination for its beautiful landscapes and peaceful lifestyle. However, we are open to moving to different states in Australia, as we love the idea of learning about this new culture, meeting new people, connecting with nature, and contributing our help and willingness to assist our host family with whatever they need.
We graduated as doctors 5 years ago, and after all these years of routine, we have decided to take some time off to explore the world and live new experiences. We are hardworking, responsible, and kind people; this is our first Workaway experience, but we believe we adapt quite easily to all kinds of new experiences.
Henry, in addition to being a doctor, is a teacher, so he enjoys teaching and learning new skills whenever he can. He is a very charismatic and sociable person. Yesenia, for her part, enjoys meditation, music, getting to know people better, and maintaining a good atmosphere. We both love sharing our experiences and stories, and we believe the best way to connect with people is to listen with your heart. So any opportunity to spend time with other Workawayers and local hosts is perfect for us.
