I am a young, enthusiastic 24 year old skilled Bench Joiner and machine operative. I have been working in the Joinery industry for 8 years gaining experience in traditional English woodworking, complex machine operations and customer facing installation.
Over the past three years I have also been involved with Oxfam and their UK festival operations team, volunteering for supervisory and stewarding roles in crowd logistics at UK music festivals.
I have also travelled the world, from spending time in many French, Swiss and New Zealand ski resorts, to working in the hospitality industry on the east coast of Australia.

As part of my Joinery job I am heavily involved in 3 phase machine operation. We have a variety of complex timber processing machines from Planer/Thicknessers to Spindle Moulders. I understand the way in which to operate all safely and what PPE equipment is required for risk mitigation.

Assistant Scout Leader, Trull Reference available on request
After spending my childhood in the Scouts, I decided to give something back by volunteering as an assistant scout leader. This meant I had responsibilities to the children in my care to make sure they learnt and stayed safe whilst in a fun environment.
I planned games, training activities and became a canoeing instructor whilst also doing the Gold Duke of Edinburgh’s award and Ten Tors Training myself. It was very challenging but ultimately very rewarding.
