Hi,
I live in a quiet spot by the ocean at the edge of the world in Tasmania. I enjoy connecting with my environment, being in the bush but mainly being in the ocean, surfing and kayaking. I like to fill my time reading novels, listening to music and doing wood work projects.
I have worked as a bushwalking and kayaking guide / outdoor educator mostly, finding a lot of joy in showing and teaching people about some of my faviourite parts of the world, and meeting people from all walks of life. Currently I work as a geospatial analyst at an ecological firm, where my role is focused on visual interpretation of flora and fauna data.
I have always been a keen traveller, exploring wild parts of the world and immersing myself in different cultures. I have lived in several countries mostly in Asia, and love to find ways I can meet locals and be a part of the community I am in. My focus has changed over the years from adventuring to volunteering and similiar opportunites where I can be more involved and helpful.
I am new to workaway and am excited to meet people in this way.

People skills
I have spent a lot of time working with people as a guide, this involves a lot of group facilitation, interpration, delegation, as well as simpler jobs such as cooking, cleaning and managing for groups of around 10 people.
Trades
I am handy with tools and smaller renovations, being something I do often at my own home or helping friends. This also includes a large amount of gardening and general landscaping.
Computer
I am good on a computer, with all the basic software skills. I am also familiar with a bit of python coding, mapping software, and several other proffesional platforms.
In Australia we would say Jack of all trades master of none.
