Beschreibung

I am a curious, open-minded cosmopolitan Swiss male and I have now taken an early retirement from professional life with assignments as an airline employee in Switzerland, UK, Tanzania and Japan. The last 23 years I was involved in developing and operating some 100 Serviced Apartments in Zurich, Switzerland, I am now open for new ventures as an allrounder, primarily in Europe. As a "Workawyer" I expect to discover new, unknown places and meet interesting people of all ages and personal backgrounds. Having grown up on a typical Swiss farm with animals of all kinds and grain, vegetable and fruit cultivations, I am not shying away from manual work. I am happy to work self-responsibly on my own as well as in a team. While generally I will be taking up appointments on my own, my girl friend, who is younger than me and who is still working part-time in Switzerland, will be visiting and supporting me for shorter periods.
In 2023 I have gained experience in two house/-dogsits in Switzerland through trustedhousesitters.com and a 7-week workaway stay in Greece.
And last but not least, despite my age I am young at heart and mind, fit, active in sports, with a healthy body, with a height of 1.88cm and a weight of 84 kg.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

As an operator of close to 100 Serviced Apartments, I was challenged daily with maintenance, repair and overhaul tasks. I therefore have a vast experience in solving problems which can arise daily in and around a property.
I am a passionate gardener and use my skills in my own two garden at home.
While having a hands on attitude and being used to manual work, I am also an experienced manager, with expertise in organising and motivating teams from house-keeping, guest relations, to marketing and administration/finance.
