Beschreibung
Hey, I am Samuel and 20 years old. This summer I had my graduation and now I am planning to do a gap year abroad in the beautiful New Zealand. I already had the luck to experience one year abroad in Canada by staying as an exchange student in a lovely hostfamily. It was the best experience I ever had: I developed myself a lot, made many friends along the year, got to discover a completely different country with its beautiful nature and got to experience many different cultures.
Last year I already spend 3 weeks in Italy in a small village working on a farm, helping with its gardening. I helped with their vegetable garden and cleared their forest of weeds. My hostfamily was really nice, they had three little sons and we all had many fun times together. Aditionally I enjoyed exploring the surroundings by myself.
About me: I am a social person that likes to have shared experiences with others. Furthermore I am easygoing and openminded towards new people as well as new things. In addition I am an active person who likes to do many different things, for instance explore the nature or architecture, as well as having a chill evening playing cards. My hobbies are especially doing sport in general. I play table tennis in a club since I am 8 years old and I did athletics for 4 years. Now I play volleyball for fun. Furthermore I like very much to play the piano and I used to have lessons till last winter break. In my freetime I also like to just chill listening to music and paint. I really like woodworking therefore last winter I started a course in woodwork and build myself a beside table. Furthermore I am doing now an internship with a carpenter for four weeks.
My father is photographer and my mother is art historian and now does the accounting and taxes from my father. My sister is studying education for primary school in Freiburg and my brother is studying education for secondary school in Marburg. I live with my family and my cat in Frankfurt. I love my cat and love to stay with animals.

Was könntest du arbeiten?
My best skill is building, because I love it and already got some experience with it for example an intership with a carpenter or building small models. I am creative and good at logical things as mathematic and art also were my main subjects in highschool. Furthermore I am patient and openminded. I sometimes cook at home therefore I already have some experience with cooking and still like to try new recipes. I know something about gardening thanks to my last workaway stay where I could expand my knowledge about gardening. Because I very much like staying in the nature I am open and would like to learn more about gardening.
