Hello potential hosts!
I am a science teacher, TEFL teacher, experienced support worker, musician and travel enthusiast in search of adventure, new skills, like minded people and exciting projects!
My main goal doing workaway is to truly experience different cultures and lifestyles, learn new skills and explore different perspectives.
I love problem solving and fixing things. I love a challenge and am pretty handy at DIY. My experience is limited however to DIY projects in my own house, so I would especially love the chance to learn more about building, engineering and mechanics. I'm fit, strong and determined and I'd love to get stuck in to some good hard manual labour!
I'm also a great cook and would love to cook for you and/or swap recipes 😁
As a PGCE and TEFL qualified teacher I can teach you English or science. I am also a (mostly comedy) singer songwriter and ukelele player and would love to share my music with you! I also love dancing, especially salsa or with my poi.
I am a low maintenance volunteer and like to live simply. I prefer it when there are set work/play times, and find this helps me interact with you as a friend as well as a boss.
It's your home! It's your rules! I appreciate a workaway is not just a holiday and will treat your hospitality with the respect it deserves.

We stayed for just over 2 weeks. MD helped us set up a luxury camping experience by the river, with our own stove, sun/rain shelters, comfy camp chairs, snack stash and monkey neighbours!
