Hey, I'm Quentin! 🤙
French guy from Lyon, always up for an adventure and genuinely excited about pretty much everything life throws my way. Seriously — I don't think I've ever turned down a new experience. Whether it's jumping into a kitchen, helping out on a farm, fixing something with my hands or just making people laugh over a meal, I'm the kind of person who shows up with a smile and gives 100%.
By day I work in hospitality and F&B, and before that I was a reliability engineer — so yeah, I can carry plates AND fix your tractor 😄. But what I love most, no matter the task, is the human side of things. Meeting people, sharing stories, learning how things are done differently somewhere else... that's what gets me going every morning.
I joined Workaway because I want to learn Spanish — for real, not just from a textbook. I want to live it, breathe it, mess up my conjugations at the dinner table and laugh about it. I'm a beginner-intermediate level and I'm super motivated to improve fast when I'm surrounded by the right people!
Oh, and I play acoustic guitar and sing 🎸 — so if your evenings feel a little quiet, I can fix that too.
I'm easy-going, always in a good mood, I love meeting new people and I adapt to pretty much any situation. If you're looking for someone who'll bring good energy from day one — look no further, let's make it happen! 😄

Soy un chico francés de Lyon, siempre listo para una aventura y con ganas de todo lo que la vida me ponga por delante. En serio — creo que nunca he rechazado una nueva experiencia. Ya sea meterme de lleno en una cocina, echar una mano en una granja, arreglar algo con mis propias manos o simplemente hacer reír a la gente durante una comida, soy el tipo de persona que llega con una sonrisa y lo da todo.
Trabajo en hostelería y restauración, y antes fui ingeniero — así que sí, puedo llevar platos Y arreglar tu tractor 😄. Pero lo que más me gusta, sea cual sea la tarea, es el lado humano de las cosas. Conocer gente, compartir historias, aprender cómo se hacen las cosas de otra manera en otro lugar... ¡eso es lo que me hace levantarme con ganas cada mañana!
Me uní a Workaway porque quiero aprender español — de verdad, no solo con un libro de texto. Quiero vivirlo, respirarlo, equivocarme con las conjugaciones en la mesa y reírme de ello. Tengo un nivel básico-intermedio y estoy súper motivado para mejorar rápido rodeado de las personas adecuadas.
Ah, y toco la guitarra acústica y canto 🎸 — así que si tus noches se quedan un poco tranquilas, ¡yo también puedo solucionar eso!
Soy una persona tranquila, siempre de buen humor, me encanta conocer gente nueva y me adapto a casi cualquier situación. Si buscas a alguien que traiga buena energía desde el primer día — ¡no busques más, hagámoslo posible! 😄

I'm actively learning Spanish and looking to improve fast through real-life immersion. I can already hold basic conversations but I want to go much further — and I truly believe the best way to learn is by living the language every day. In exchange, I'm a native French speaker and also speak intermediate English, so I'm happy to help any host who wants to practice either language! Language exchange over dinner sounds perfect to me 😄

A few more things about me: I love cooking and trying local food wherever I go, so getting into a kitchen with a host family feels like a dream to me.
I'm also really into sports and outdoor activities — I enjoy staying active and I absolutely love discovering new sports or leisure activities I've never tried before. If you have something to teach me, I'm in! 💪
And of course, wherever I go, my guitar comes with me 🎸. Music has always been my way of connecting with people, breaking the ice and turning strangers into friends.
