Hi!
For the last 10 years of my life I have lived on an organic selfsustainable farm in Denmark, with chickens, pigs, sheep, ducks, a polytunnel, a compost and more, and have grown quite fond of organic farming and biodiversity.

For the last two years I've attended the IB diploma programme, an international education that has made me interested in traveling and experiencing other cultures. I am currently starting my first gap year and I hope to meet other people with the same interests as me, while learning more about eco-friendly projects and conservation of nature.

I get joy from being in the nature, reading books, sharing ideas, having a small creative project (knitting/crocheting, origami, sudoku), listening to music from the 60s and 70s and biking.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

I want to workaway because I want to develop more pratical skills and gain more knowledge about the world and the plants and animals living on it. I am very eager to learn about biodiversity. On my previous school I was the 'president' of the Climate Club and I worked hard to spread awareness of climate change to my fellow students. I am very concerned about the environment and would love to feel like I am making a difference in the world. It would be interesting to learn about different ways to live more eco friendly and gain some knowledge of eco-building.

In September and October 2023 I worked on different farms in France and have acquired some more knowledge and skills with plants like weeding, planting, harvesting, clearing plant beds and more.

In December 2023 I stayed 3 weeks on a nature sanctuary with kiwi birds north from Dargaville and have learned about trapping, monitoring and other conservation works.

I have also volunteered on a small mushroom farm we're I was involved in growing, harvesting and processing mushrooms. I also helped out on weekend markets.

I have some knowledge about organic farming in Denmark, but I am excited to learn about the differences between Danish farming and what I might experience on my way.

I love to play cards or solitaire and I find most board games fun aswell.
I see myself to have a very broad spectrum of interests, and usually I get inspired by the hobbies of the people around me. I love reading books and sharing interesting reading experiences with other people.
